| Pokhalde peak |
Pokhalde (5806m/19049ft) was first climbed in 1953 from the Kongma- la. The northern side of the mountain has a small hanging glacier. Pokhalde appears to be most of a rocky ridge dominated by the vastness of the Nuptse. Though not of any great magnitude. “Giants in the mountaineering field” first climbed Pokhalde.
